Mrs. Margaret Capps Owens, 74, wife of the late Cleo Owens, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Mrs. Owens was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Benjamin Sanford and Lillie Smith Capps and was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Bo Owens and Gary Owens, both of Anderson; two daughters, Rachel Owens of Anderson and Patricia Dodgens of Pickens; one sister, Betty Wood of Anderson; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Owens was predeceased by two sons, Sanford Owens and Donnie Owens; two daughters, Diane Davis and Patricia G. Owens; and two brothers, Bud Capps and Gene Capps.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Easley, with the Reverends Frankie Capps and Ray Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family are at their respective homes.
