Margaret Burdine Richardson

Margaret Burdine Richardson, 78, wife of the late James Edward Richardson, Sr., passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Born in Pickens Co., she was a daughter of the late Mason "Jack" and Myrtle Lee Sparks Burdine.

Mrs. Richardson loved spending time on her crafts and cooking and was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by sons, James Edward "Jamie" Richardson, Jr. (Beth) and Jeffrey David "Jeff" Richardson both of Easley; a brother, Tommy Burdine (Teresa) of Easley; five grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of over 55 years, she was preceded in death by son, Scott Richardson, Sr.; brothers, James "J.B." Burdine and Joseph Burdine; and sisters, Patricia Burdine, Rose Nabors, and Wilma Burdine.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Cedar Rock Baptist Church, Easley. Burial will follow in Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Easley.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at the church.
