Margaret Sparks Spearman

Margaret Sparks Spearman, 81, widow of Norville B. Spearman, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her home.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Rev. James J. and Delilah Cheves Sparks. She earned an Associate Degree from Anderson College and was a homemaker, wife and mother. Margaret was a member of Clemson Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are sons, Brig (Lynn) Spearman of Clemson, Scott Spearman of Decatur, Alabama, Seth (Kathryn) Spearman of Greenville, SC and Steve (Jean) Spearman of Clemson; a sister, Lib Gordon of Raleigh, NC; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Joe Sparks and Jim Sparks; and a sister, Betty Thomason.

Private Graveside services will be held at Old Stone Church Cemetery with Rev. David Sinclair officiating.

Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Clemson Presbyterian Church with visitation immediately following the service at the church.
