Margaret Slaten Stephens, 86, formerly of 6 Lula Lane, wife of the late Thomas W. Stephens, died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Easley Living Center.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Margaret Ann Mimms Slaten, Mrs. Stephens retired from J.P. Stevens Corporation and was a member of Monaghan United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Tommie Ann Bagwell and her husband, James E., of Easley; a sister, Joyce Bongiorno of Dacusville; a grandson, Michael Bagwell and his wife, Stephanie, of Easley; and two great-grandchildren, Colten Bagwell and Carson Barnes.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Correll officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
The family is at the home of Tommie Ann and James Bagwell, 105 Skyland Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
