Margarette Gibbs Ogle, 92, formerly of Clemson, wife of 68 years to Wayne LeRoy Ogle, died peacefully Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Born in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Lola Clapp Gibbs.  She was a graduate of Knoxville High School.  She was a retired secretary with Duke Power and was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.  She was active in the community having been a longtime treasurer of the Tamassee Chapter of the D.A.R., member of the Clemson Garden Club and various bridge clubs.  Mrs. Ogle enjoyed friends, Clemson Heights neighbors, bridge and traveled extensively throughout the country as well as overseas.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Wayne “Roy” Ogle are her son, Anthony “Tony” Ogle of Greenville; daughter, Diane (Anthony Randolph) Riddle of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Ryan Glover, Jay Ogle, Jonathan Ogle, Tim Ogle and Randy Watkins; and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday, June 5, 2016 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Megan Augustine officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM, Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
