Margie Johnson Grant, 78, of 248 Kingsway Drive, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Disney, KY, a daughter of the late Luke and Roxie Newman Johnson, Mrs. Grant was a homemaker and attended Free Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are her husband, Sam Grant of the home; children, Sam Grant, Sandra Grant, Debra Schmidt, Richard Grant, and Kimberly Grant; sisters, Velma Stanton (Edward) and Shirley Scott; grandchildren, Wayne and John Grant, Audrey Grant, Lucky Parson, Sara Johnson, Jessica Geise (Derek), Harlan Baggett, William Bagett and Matthew Grant. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grant was predeceased by a son, Timothy Grant.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Pilgrim Holiness Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Interim Healthcare, 775 Spartan Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29301.
Family members are at their respective homes.
