Margie Phillips Lyles

Margie Phillips Lyles, 87, wife of the late James William Lyles, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.

Born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Vernon Lee Phillips and the late Bertha Emerson Phillips, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family. She retired from Springs Mills in Lancaster, SC after many years of service and attended Connection Fellowship Church in Powdersville.

Surviving are sons, Jack Lyles (Denise) of Piedmont and Mike Lyles (Carissa Ann) of Donalds, SC; a brother, Claude Phillips (Pat) of Kershaw, SC; six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park, 1389 Memorial Park Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
