Maria Mun?oz Barrett, 83, of Greenville, SC and widow of Arthur Barrett died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Glorified Health and Rehab in Greenville.
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico she was a daughter of the late Ramo?n and Quintina Lopez Mun?oz. She was a retired registered nurse and nursing educator in Puerto Rico.
She was a member of Greenville First Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Alfred Barrett of Clearwater, FL; daughter Kimi W. Barrett-Stanley of Greenville; brother Manuel Mun?oz of Puerto Rico; sisters Maria E. Munoz of Boca Raton, FL and, Conchita Mun?oz, Carmen L. Mun?oz, Esperanza Mun?oz, Leonor Mun?oz and Gloria Mun?oz all of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Levi Barrett, Myles Barrett, Haley Barrett, Emily and Rachel Barrett, Benjamin and Alicia Stanley and Victoria Mosley, step-grandchildren Matthew Stanley, Rebecca Hicks and Joni Mulhall; great-grandchild Brooklyn Isabelle Mosley, and step-great grandchildren Kayla and Nathan Mulhall and Faith, Grace and Hope Hicks.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery in Waynesville, OH at a later date.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Benevolence Fund of Greenville First Wesleyan Church, 103 S. Texas Ave., Greenville, SC 29611 or to the charity of one's choice.
