Marie Louise Jensen

Marie Louise Schneider Jensen, 73, of Seneca, wife of Arnleiv Jensen, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in "The Bronx" NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter Fredrick and Eva Thaens Schneider. She was also predeceased by her step-father Fred Mischo. She was a 1962 graduate of the University of Rochester, worked as a development engineer with Bausch and Lomb and later a Laboratory Technician at Genesee Hospital. Arn and Marie were married in May of 1975 and they moved to upstate South Carolina in 1980. She immediately became an active member of University Lutheran Church where she was a member of both the Chancel Choir and the Handbell Choir.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, William A Washburn and his wife Shirley Anne of Virginia Beach VA; step-daughters Elise Jensen and her husband Marc Cunningham of Friday Harbor WA, Sandra Jensen and her husband Samuel Broaddus of Gorham ME, and Pamela J Lazio and her husband Thomas of Naples NY; step-son Arn Christopher Jensen and his wife Randy of Cohoes NY; brother William Peter Schneider and his wife Eva of Spring Valley CA. Also 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Memorial services will be 2pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at University Lutheran Church in Clemson. The family will receive friends immediately follow the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University Lutheran Church.
