Marie Ellen Reed, 97, of Easley, passed away Monday, August 7, 2011 at Magnolia of Easley.
Mrs. Reed was born in South Bend, In; the daughter of the late Samuel August and Ellen Nora Riffel Lipetzke. She retired as a Dental and Physician's Assistant and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Greenville, SC
Surviving are three sons, Maurice Reed (Linda), Michael Reed (Mila) and Ronald (Buddy) Reed (Jackie); five grandchildren, Laura, Maury (Bethany), David, Chris and Anastasia Reed; two great-grandchildren, Felicity and Bailey Reed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reed was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Duane Reed and a brother, Edward Lipetska .
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Blend IN. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Friday at the Church.
