Marie Wagoner Sellman, 88, of Lakeview Drive, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Glorified Health & Rehab.
Born in Wood County, OH, a daughter of the late Earl Francis and Emma Marie Manz Wagoner, Mrs. Sellman received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toledo and did graduate work at the University of New Mexico and The Citadel. She retired as a lab technician from the Medical University of South Carolina and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, C. Frank Sellman of the home; a son, Dr. Gary Kendall Sellman (Phyllis) of Easley; a daughter, Sharon Louise Haggy (Gary Allen) of Atlanta; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sellman was predeceased by a brother, Herbert Wagoner, and four sisters, Dorothy Rose Wagoner, Opal Mae Wagoner, Betty Mikesell Winnette and Georgia Wagoner.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
