Mrs. Marilyn Jobe Hendricks, 62, wife of the late Jack Bennett Hendricks, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Paris, TN., the daughter of the late Ben A. and Mary H. Jobe, Mrs. Hendricks graduated from Furman University, was a retired teacher, piano teacher, director of First Baptist Church Child Development Center and was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley.
Surviving are a son, Brian Hendricks of Easley; a daughter, Heather Vinson (Bill) of Carey, NC.; a brother, Ben A. Jobe, Jr. of Nashville, TN. and two grandchildren, Bennett and Ian Vinson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 in the chapel of First Baptist Church, Easley, with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. in the chapel narthex of the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Easley, 300 E. First Avenue, Easley, SC 29640 or to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA. 22311.
