Marilyn Joerette McGaha, 77, of 100 Northway Drive, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Easley, a daughter of the late C.B. and Sadie Modena Brown McGaha, Miss McGaha retired from Better Skills.
Surviving are a brother, Clinton McGaha (Laverne) of Six Mile; two sisters, Janie Elizabeth McGaha Gilstrap of Easley, and Marcelle McGaha Brooks of Pickens. In addition to her parents, Miss McGaha was predeceased by two brothers, Jerry Wayne McGaha and John Clyde McGaha, and by five sisters, Helen James, Juanita Capell, Florence Holliday, Jenette McGaha and Clara McGaha.
Miss McGaha is also survived by her extended family, employees and residents of Northway Home, a special friend, Margaret Aiken and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
