Marilyn Jo Delozier Thompson, 75, formerly of Greenville, died Saturday, February 7, 2009, in Glen Rose, Texas.
Born October 12, 1933, in Dewey, Oklahoma, Mrs. Thompson was a daughter of the late Willis Taft and Anna Mae Harrington Delozier. She married R.L. Thompson in 1953 at Borger, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Jimmy Thompson and wife, Norma, of Easley and Ronald Thompson and wife, Lisa, of Dacusville; two daughters, Tori Sills and husband, Rick, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Nita Cates and husband, Shad, of Glen Rose, Texas; two sisters, Glenna Lemons and Sara Ann Redmond, and one brother, Elmer C. Delozier, all of Texas; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband of 42 years, R.L. Thompson; a granddaughter, Christy Thompson; and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Thompson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Minister Michael Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
