Marion Arie Denney, 59, of 540 Fair Play Road, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Oconee Medical Center.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late J.B. and Allene Bryant Denney. He was a truck driver with Dan Nalley Enterprises.
Surviving are one son, Tommy Denney; granddaughter, Samantha Denney; great grandchildren, Dalton and Kislin Jinks all of NC; two brothers, Phillip Denney of Bennettsville, SC and Carlton J. Denney of Hartwell, GA; two sisters, Madaline Denney of Townville and Tonia Skelton of Pendleton.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Bennie Denney and Michael Atkinson; and a sister, Eloise Smith.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
