Marion Elizabeth Leonhardt Eidson, 85, wife of the late Otis Royal Eidson, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was affectionately known as "Amma" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Laurens, a daughter of the late Robert Derrell Leonhardt and the late Ruby Mae Page Leonhardt, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved the Lord and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Powdersville Gardening Club and volunteered for hospice in Greenville. She was a member of Pathway Church in Piedmont.
Surviving are sons, Tony Eidson (Denise) of Concord, NC and Pat Eidson (Susan) of Summerville; daughters, Ann Edney (David Keith, Sr., Deceased) of Piedmont and Beth Weeks (Brad) of Greenville; a brother, Charles Robert Leonhardt (Judy) of Greer; a sister, Ola Mae Morgan (Cookie) of Woodruff; grandchildren, Tal Eidson (Macaire), Trey Eidson (Tiffany), Melissa Arena, Chuck Eidson (Samantha), David Keith Edney, Jr. (Lori), Bryan Edney (Wendy), Chad Posey (Mandy), Nicholas Posey (Noel), and Ryan Weeks (Traci); and great-grandchildren, Evelynn, Miles, Treyton, Tre, Tate, Tripp, Maddie, Emily, Katie, Bryan Roy, Avery, Kenzie, Reeve, Annemarie, Caroline, Ruby, and Raelynn.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Care Hospice, 634 Fairview Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680, or to the American Parkinson Disease Association at apdaparkinson.org.
