Marion Louise "Meme" Folmsbee King, 89, of 558 Shoals Creek Church Road, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Oakmont Nursing Center.
Born in Binghamton, N.Y., Mrs. King was a daughter of the late George Omer and Viola Beyea Folmsbee. She was a former manager with Ivey's Department Store in Greenville and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon King of the home; one brother, Merlin Folmsbee of Binghamton, N.Y.; and two sisters, Dorothy Turner of Binghamton, N.Y. and Betty Spangenberg of Plains, Penn.; In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband, Clinton Lawyer King; and a brother, Grant Folmsbee.
Memorial services will be private in New York at later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Senior Action, P.O. Box 17619, Greenville, SC 29606.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
