Marion Charlie Simmons

Marion Charlie Simmons, Jr., 66, husband of Debbie Gibson Simmons passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Charlie was born in Oconee County a son of the late Marion C., Sr. and Gaynelle Rollins Simmons. He was a 1972 graduate of Seneca High School and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Seneca. Charlie was a retired employee with Johnson Controls in West Union. He enjoyed playing golf, horseshoes, tailgating at Clemson football games, watching his grandchildren playing various sports and loved his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Brett Simmons and his wife, Lisa and their children, Connor and Kensey Simmons of Seneca; brother, Eddie Simmons of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Oconee Memorial Park with Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating.
The family will have a Celebration of Charlie's Life at a later date.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Seneca, SC.
