Marion Heckel Van Deusen, 87, of 500 Downs Loop, formerly of Gastonia, NC and widow of George S. Van Deusen, died Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Clemson Downs.
Born in Lock Haven, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mina Hamberger Heckel, she was a homemaker and attended the Shabbat Shalom Messianic Congregation.
Surviving are, a son, Chalmers Van Deusen of Gastonia, NC; and a sister, Louise Sick of Montoursville, PA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas E. "Buzz" Heckel; and a sister, Catherine Probst who were both from, Lock Haven, PA.
Memorial services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, September 23 at Castanea United Methodist Church in Castanea, PA. with a burial to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Woolrich, PA.
