Mrs. Marjory May Gault Bowick, 84, of 207 Asbury Circle, wife of Dr. Ralph "Hubert" Bowick, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Mrs. Bowick was a daughter of the late William Eby and Mabel Winifred Brogdon Gault. Mrs. Bowick graduated from the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing. She was a former nurse and and a former substitute teacher for the School District of Pickens County. Mrs. Bowick was a member of the Dorothy O. Scott Garden Club as well as various Bridge Clubs, the Rhododendron Society, and a leader of the Candy Stripers Club at Baptist Easley Hospital. In addition, Mrs. Bowick was an Election Poll Worker and was an active member of Easley Presbyterian Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of sixty years, are a son, Bill (Kaye) Bowick; three daughters, Debbie Page, Toni Bowick, and Pam (Sam) Baker; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bowick was predeceased by two sisters.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Easley Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends in the church parlor immediately following the service.

Escort of Honor will be the Dorothy O. Scott Garden Club and the Burdine Springs Bridge Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 200 South First Street, Easley, SC 29640 or Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 1988, Easley, SC 29641.
