Mark Timothy Hester, 48, of 111 Mary Jane Drive, died Friday, July 24, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Glenn L. and Alice Galloway Hester. He was the supervisor of Team 235 at the Oconee Nuclear Station where he had worked for over 24 years and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a loving and caring family including his wife, Mary Jane Kelley Hester of the home; a son, Joshua Timothy Hester and wife, Amanda, of Easley; two daughters, Alisha S. Thetford and husband, Timothy of Liberty and Tracy R. Jackson and husband, Jack of Easley; a brother, Larry G. Hester and wife, Rhonda of Pickens; sister, Yvonne Nichols and husband, Larry of Travelers Rest; two grandchildren, Brandon Thetford and Jackie Jackson; four nephews; and one his dearest friends, Terry Caldwell.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Reverend Charlie Bishop and Reverend Dr. Jack Connelly officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of the son, Joshua Hester, 105 Tara Court, Easley, SC 29642.
