Mr. Mark Robert Smith, 37, husband of Irisa "Risa" Lee Freeman Smith, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Born in Augusta, GA, the son of Pamela Womack Rivard of Easley, and the late Michael Robert Smith, Mark was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School and attended the Governor's School of Fine Arts. He was employed with Cassidy Coates Price Law Firm. 

Mark was a talented musician, guitarist and producer. He could play any instrument and traveled around the world performing, songwriting and touring. Mark loved to use his talents to teach others and he touched many lives. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two sisters, Lisa Smith Branham of Easley, and Melissa Renee Smith of Liberty; and two step-daughters, Kacey Nespoli (Noah) of Lyman, and Audrey Combs of Greenville.

Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in memory of Mark to Triune Mercy Center, 222 Rutherford Street, Greenville, SC 29609.
