Marlene Kirk Whitworth, 80, of Easley, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late John and Hulda Jane Shavers Kirk.
Mrs. Whitworth was a former employee of Stone Manufacturing and was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church. She loved to read and go to yard sales.
Surviving are her children, Joey Whitworth, Jr. (Lisa) of Williamstown, KY, Teresa Jones of Easley and Jane Sanders (Eric) of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, Hannah Jones, Jason Todd Condrey (Amber) and Ricky Whitworth; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Tumblin of Ft. Inn; and a brother, Darrell Kirk of Piedmont.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Whitworth and a sister, Demaris Gilmer.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
The family will be at their respective homes.
