Mr. Marshall Claude Chastain, 66, of 107 Belton Drive, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Born in Pickens County, the son of the late Lee Woodrow and Alma Pearson Chastain, Mr. Chastain was employed with Security Forces and the YMCA of Anderson, and was a member of the Bates Lodge No. 189 A.F.M.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Kay Chastain of the home; a son John Chastain (Michelle) of Williamston; one daughter, Cynthia Weiler (Mark) of High Point, NC; two sisters, Glenda Moran of Pelzer and Dorothy Ellwanger of Easley; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore and Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Sunday, at the church, prior to the service.

The family is at the residence.
