Marta Elena Chavez Heath, passed away on November 25, 2023. 

Born on July 31, 1947 she was a daughter to the late Carlos and Hortencia Gonzalez Chavez.

Throughout her lifetime, Marta cultivated a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She had a deep appreciation for travel, exploring different cultures and experiencing new landscapes. she took her love for travel to her workplace where she worked as a travel agent for many years. 

In addition for her love for travel, Marta enjoyed cooking, art, watching movies, and loved her pets. 

In addition to her parents, Marta is survived by her son Shawn Heath (Dede); her beloved grandchildren, Luke, Dean, and Pete Heath; her siblings, Dr. Celso Chavez, Carlos Chavez Jr., and Raul Chavez. 

In addition to her parents, Marta is predeceased by her sister Cassandra Chavez-Lombardi.

A memorial service in honor of Marta's life will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 12:00PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley.
