Martha Ward Cruse, 73, of Ingleoak Lane, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Regency Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, the daughter of the late Dwight L. and Laura Robertson Ward, Mrs. Cruse was a homemaker and a member of Slab Town Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, James Cruse, Sr., of the home; sons, John Childress, James "Scooter" Cruse, Jr., Michael Cruse and Todd Wright; daughters, Susan Stansell, Laura Massey, Daune Raines and Angie Emen; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cruse was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Childress and by a brother, Charles Ward.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Susan Stansell, 325 North Hendricks Lane, Easley, SC 29640.
