Martha Holliday Holder, 80, and widow of Lloyd Holder passed away peacefully Tuesday April 28, 2020. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina November 24, 1939 a daughter of Blease and Hazel Bryson Holliday.
Martha was a hard worker her entire life. She worked as a custodian in the textile mill for many years. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved making jewelry, earrings, and necklaces. She made them for everybody, and everybody loved them.
Martha is survived by 3 sons, Carlis Holder (Carol) of Anderson, Daniel Holder (Cindy) of Central and Dan'l Holder (Kerry) of Six Mile; 3 daughters, Kay Brice of Liberty, Judy Owens (Jim) of Six Mile and Darlene Owens (Mark) of Central; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two brothers, Oliver Holliday (Geneiva) of Greenville and Ricky (Bev) of Cateechee.
In addition to her parents and husband Martha was predeceased by two brothers, Joe and Randy Holliday; two sisters, Margie Havner and Bethel Moncus; and four grandchildren, Sammy Owens, Lee Owens, Jarett Holder, and April Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 30 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central.
The family will receive friends at 12 noon, prior to the service.
Martha will be laid to rest beside her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
