Martha Janice McCroskey King, 84, of 198 Stephens Road, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Stevens County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Samuel McCroskey and Martha McKinney King. She was a homemaker and a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Louie Bryan King, Jr. and wife Louise of Powdersville, Dwain Allen King and wife Lesley of Central; a brother, Kendall McCroskey of Greenville; two sisters, Sallie Mae Collins of Taylors, Emma Hughes of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In additon to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louie Bryan King, Sr.; and two sisters, Francis Guice and Ina Posey.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Reverend Pat Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate; 1835 Rogers Road; Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at their respective homes.
