Lifelong Easley resident Martha Jean Lewis, 83, passed away peacefully December 18, 2023 at Manna Post-Acute in Pickens after a period of declining health. 

A member of the Baptist faith, Martha was a charter member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church and a graduate of Easley High School.

Daughter of the late Gene and Lona Lewis, Martha is survived by a sister, Ann Hampton (Dale) formerly of Easley; nephews, Maxie Eskew (Jeanie) of Taylors, Jim Eskew (Ann Marie) of Mt. Pleasant, and Steve Eskew of Atlanta. Extended family members include other nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Martha was also predeceased by sisters Frances Stone and Louise Williams; and niece Kimberly Hampton.
