Martha Elizabeth Evatt Myers, 78, of Pendleton and wife of Charles E. Myers passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at her home.
Mrs. Myers was born in the Keowee Community of Oconee County and was a daughter of the late, Young Adam and Ellon Morgan Evatt.
She was a 1953 graduate of Keowee High School. Martha was the Vice President and former office manager of Myers Construction Company, Inc.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Mark Myers of Pendleton; daughter, Lisa Caveny of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, Mac and Thurmond Evatt of Seneca; two sisters, Edna Smith and Kathlyn Alexander of Seneca; and her grand-dog Ella Grace.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Jacqulea Cassell, Frednelle Jenkins and Lois Shepherd.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Pendleton First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:15 PM prior to the service at the church.
The family will be at the home, 2321 Old Greenville Highway, Pendleton, SC 29670.
