MARTHA LOIS GRAVLEY PACE Clemson
Martha Lois Gravley Pace, 69, wife of John W. Pace, died at her residence on Thursday, January 31, 2008. A native of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Carey Gravley and Lillie Gilstrap Gravley. She was a devoted wife and mother and was a faithful member of the Pendleton United Methodist Church serving the church in several capacities. She retired from Clemson University.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Felecia Pace Dunlap of Central and Kimberly Pace Wacha and husband James of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers: Walter Carroll Gravley of Easley and Mac Gravley of Liberty; sisters: Avanelle Gravley Gaunce of Pauline, Faye Gravley Sanders of Easley and Louise Gravley Harrison of Easley and 5 grandchildren: Joy Dunlap Ellison, Cal Dunlap, and Alex, Cody and Heaven Leigh Wacha.
Funeral Services will be Monday at 11am at the Pendleton United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm and will be placed in the church on Monday at 10am. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Pendleton United Methodist Church, PO Box 646, Pendleton, SC 29670.
