Martha Zelma Padgett, 85, Pendleton passed away Saturday morning, February 29, 2020.
Martha retired in 2018 after 52 years of dedicated service to Pendleton Dental Care. She served her community in one location for the entirety of her career.
She is survived by her two sons, Tony Padgett and wife, Dawn Rose of Pendleton, and Mark Padgett and wife, Renee of Elberton, GA; two grandchildren, Brett Padgett and wife, Corrie of Elberton, GA, and Ashley Padgett, Katy TX; two great-grandchildren, Cooper Padgett and Brooks Padgett; one brother, Thomas Chalker. In addition to her family she will be missed by her cat, Simba.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas (Avant) and Martha (Irene)Chalker, her husband, Cecil Padgett, one brother, JB Chalker, and two sisters, JoAnn Chalker and Mary Chalker Brooks.
Services are 11 AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to funeral beginning at 10 AM.
