Martin Reshard "Marty" Moore, 51, of 109 Fieldstone Drive, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at his home.
Born in Greenville County, a son of William Edmund "Bud" and Mary Patterson Moore of Easley, Mr. Moore was a job site supervisor with Harper Corporation. He was a member of Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy where he was a former Sunday School teacher, and was an avid Bluegrass fan.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Durham Moore of the home; two daughters, Jessica Nicole Moore and Amber Brooke Moore, both of Easley; two brothers, Perry Moore (Lisa) of Simpsonville and Greg Moore (Teresa) of Easley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2;00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.,m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Cancer Centers of the Carolinas and especially to Dr. Jeffrey Giguere, and also to the American Cancer Society.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
