Marvin Pittman, Sr., 71, formerly of 222 Laurel and Hardy Lake Rd, husband of the late, Lavonia Bailey Pittman passed away Wednesday, June 9,2010 at Heritage Health Care, Six Mile S.C.
Born in Marietta, SC, a son of the late Wade and Pearl Prichett Pittman, Mr. Pittman was owner of Pittman's Produce and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin Lee Pittman, Jr.(Mary) of Easley, Robby Lee Pittman(Patty) of Greenville; one daughter, Darlee Pittman Dodgens(Allen) of Pumkintown; four sisters, Louise Surrett of Tigerville, Pauline Surrett(Toy) of Traverlers Rest, Cally Harris of Travelers Rest, and Betty Ward of Tigerville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Jessie Pittman; one sister, Geraldine Starnes
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home- Downtown with the Reverend William Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in_
The family are at respective homes.
