 Marvin Edgar “Buddy” Robinson, 88, of Easley and formerly of Dalzell, SC, husband of the late Mary Tucker Robinson, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.

 Born in Ware Shoals, SC, he was a son of the late Arthur Ed Robinson and Dessie Alma Shaw Hester Robinson Chastain.

Buddy was retired from The United States Air Force after 20 years of dedicated service to his country. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass Music and going out to get a good meal.

 Surviving is his daughter, Sandra Robinson Walker of Easley; granddaughters, Ashley Poole (Erik) and Lisa McCollum; great-grandchildren, Collin, Nolan, and Alex Poole and Bryson McCollum; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly.

 In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sisters, Inez Robinson Buck, Lillie Mae Hester Wood, Evelyn Hester Martin, and brothers, Robert, James, Charles, and Alvin Hester.

 The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, with the service to follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial, with full military honors, will be 1:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, in Evergreen Memorial Park in Sumter, SC.
