Mary Dorothy Moore Adams, 91, of Parkway Drive, wife of the late Charles E. Adams, Sr., passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary Pauline Rankin Moore.

Mrs. Adams was retired from Cannon Hospital. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and the Gleeners/Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

"Mama Dot" loved her Lord and family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Charles E. "Chuck" Adams, Jr. (Rachel) of Pickens and Linda Trotter (Mack) of Easley; five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Dalton Moore.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Johnny Eugene Adams; a granddaughter, Tami Hemphill; two great granddaughters, Casey and Cheyenne Cox; and a brother, Jack Moore.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM in the church sanctuary.

Flowers will be accepted.

The family will be at the home.
