Mary Maalouf Ayoub, 88, of 108 Culpepper Lane and widow of Adib Ayoub, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Zahleb, Lebanon, a daughter of the late Elias and Joulia Kharaj Maalouf.
Surviving are four daughters, Nadia Dixon and husband Bill of Easley, Hayatt Ayoub Shammas of Lebanon, Nawal Dabbagh of Asheville, NC and Ghada Giordano of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Antoun Maalouf of Brooklyn, NY, Albert Maalouf and Mike Maalouf both of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Laurice Maalouf Sioufi and Leila Maalouf Bitar both of Damascus, Syria; ten grandchildren, Michael, Cherine, Marian, Ramzi, Lary, Najib, Chasa, Louly, Patrick and Paul; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Chalhoub (Son of Nadia Dixon).
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Father Tom Pistolis officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
