Mary Frances Bledsoe

Mary Frances Bledsoe, 77, of Six Mile, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

She was born on September 11, 1949, in Bessemer City, North Carolina. Mary built a working life that reflected dedication and responsibility. She worked for Thomas Built Buses and delivered school buses throughout the United States and Canada. She enjoyed the things that brought joy and connection to everyday life. Mary loved to travel, loved listening to good music, and loved dogs. She also loved being with people, and that warmth was an important part of who she was. Her faith was meaningful to her, and she was a member of Carolina Community Church.

Mary is survived by a son, Robert Long (Marty); a daughter, Lisa Lawson (Micky); a brother, Arthur Grahl; a sister, Susan Reece (Ronald); her lifelong friend, Vicki Rabon; special friend, Kayla Powell; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Judy Blair and Frank Garrett; her biological father, Garl Grahl; a son, Duane Long; and a brother, Joe Grahl.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
