Mary S. Cape

Mary Sanders Cape, 95, passed away February 23, 2018.

Born in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Myrtle Alewine Sanders. Mary was employed in textiles for many years; but received her greatest joy while she worked in the daycare at Geer Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her three daughters, Sandra Oliver and her husband Danny, of Pelzer; Bobbie Watkins and her husband Dan; and Linda Dickard and her husband Lester, both of Easley; her siblings, Ruth Bryant, of Powdersville; Inez Eaves and Effie Sanders, both of Hartwell, GA; Sarah Brasewell, of Powdersville; Thomas Sanders, of Easley; Alvin M. Sanders, Jr., of Piedmont; Doris Reynolds, of Pickens and Claude Sanders, of Slidell, LA; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild due in August.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Perry Cape and her sister, Vera Eaves.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm - 2:45pm at the funeral home.
