Mary Jo Cisson Chase, 66, of Easley, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Easley, Ms. Chase was the daughter of the late Hubert Newton and Gladys Mae Griffin Cisson. She graduated from Easley High School and was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church. Ms. Chase loved gardening.
Surviving are a son, Larry "Sonny" Chase, Jr. of Carlsbad, CA; a brother, Wallace Cisson of Easley; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a special niece, Shelia. Ms. Chase was predeceased by a brother, Billy Cisson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 pm Sunday and will be placed in the church at 10:30 A.M. Monday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or March of Dimes, 37 Villa Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
