Mary Caroline Ladnier Dennis, 58, of 124 Cherokee Road, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
Born in Alhambra, CA, a daughter of the late Harry Clarence and Eva Lee Brown Ladnier, Jr., Mrs. Dennis was a graduate of El Monte High School in El Monte, CA, and was formerly employed with Reliable Sprinkler Company. She attended Roanoke Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Eva Dennis of the home and Kela Arlene Dennis, and husband, Scott, of Gainesville, GA; a brother, William Hastings Ladnier of Easley; two sisters, Catherine Ladnier and husband, John Michael Robinson, of Greenwich, CT, and Eva Harriet Ladnier of Liberty; three grandchildren, Ladnier "Laddygale" Goldsmith, Charles Hopkins Goldsmith, III, and Michael Donavon Meekins; and two nieces, Zoya and Vanessa Robinson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Fairview United Methodist Church
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Children's Home, 3931 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
Family members are at their respective homes.
