MARY LOUISE KING ELROD - Central
Mary Louise King Elrod, 82, of 506 Eaton Street and widow of Ralph Elrod, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at her residence. She was a native of Central and was the daughter of the late William and Eva Palmer King. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed gardening and quilt-making. She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by sons: Pat Elrod and wife Wynn of Aiken, SC, Joey Elrod and wife Cathy of Dickson, TN and Robert Griffin and wife Judy of Central; daughter Wanda Evatt of Central; sister Bessie Mullis of Virginia; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 23 at 3:30pm at Memory Gardens, The family will receive friends at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central from 2 - 3pm Sunday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621
