Mary Melinda "Linda" McCall Ferguson

Mary Melinda "Linda" McCall Ferguson, 72, wife of the late Joe Earl Ferguson, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Joe Butler and Bessie Teague McCall. She was a resident of Piedmont, SC for almost the last 20 years.

Linda loved the beach and spending time with her family. She was a member of Slabtown Baptist Church, Liberty.

Linda is survived by a son, Joe Kyle Ferguson of Piedmont; a daughter, Glennis Cheryl Ferguson Watkin of Sydney, Australia; a brother, Leroy McCall (Patti) of Six Mile; a sister, Martha Faye Rogers of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Beatrice Lauren Reynolds and Rhyese Glennis Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to her great niece, Kathy Clay, who lovingly cared for her at NHC-Anderson.

In addition to her loving husband of 32 years, she was preceded in death by brothers, Richard "Dick" Allen McCall, Sr., William "Bill" Ray McCall, Sr., and Y.J. McCall; and a sister, Louella Watts.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
