Mrs. Mary Jean Finley, 77, of 349 Pearson Road, Easley, loving wife of Charles Finley, Sr., entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at her residence.

Jean was born in Liberty, SC on December 22, 1938 to the late Harold and Alene Greene Cheek. She retired from Easley High School in the cafeteria and in her free time, she enjoyed cooking and shopping. She loved her family and friends, and always enjoyed having them over to visit. She loved the Lord, and was a member of Glenwood Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School for over 25 years.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of almost 59 years, Charles Guy Finley, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons; Jimmy Finley and Charles Finley, Jr.; a daughter; Belinda Finley Bragg; and her twin sister; Joan Heaton.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 PM.

The family is at the residence and requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Glenwood Wesleyan Church, 401 Hagood Street, Easley SC 29640.
