Mary Ruth McNeely Galloway, 73, of 107 Wren Crossing Lane, wife of the late Carol A. Galloway, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson County, the daughter of the late Clyde Copland and Mary Irene Orr McNeely, Mrs. Galloway, along with her late husband owned and operated of The Four Seasons Nursery and Garden Center in Powdersville, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Artie G. Edwards of Easley; grandson, James Rockford "Rocky" Taylor of Easley; five brothers, Cecil McNeely and wife, Dot, Louie McNeely and wife, Margaret, Harold McNeely and wife, Melba, Ted McNeely and wife, Ann, and Troy McNeely and wife, Ethel, all of Powdersville; a great-grandson, Jackson Carroll Taylor, of Greer, and a step-granddaughter, Dawn Mahurin of Gainesville, GA.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
