Mary Madgeline Green Gibson, 80, of 1000 Kensington Lake Dr., wife of Billy D. Gibson, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born August 3, 1933 in Rienzi, MS, she was a daughter of the late David and Ruby Latch Green. Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker and had a rare talent for playing the piano and the organ. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of forty seven years, she is survived by her sons, John Mayfield (Vickie) and Billy Gibson (Chana); sister, Bettye Williams; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Frazier, brothers, Gene Green, Billy Green and Jimmy Green.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
