Mrs. Mary Dollie Marchbanks Harris, 90, of Easley, loving wife of the late Milton Gaston Harris, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens.
Mary was born in Easley, SC, on December 10, 1924 to the late William Dean and Bessie Mae Burdette Marchbanks. She loved to golf, travel, and fish. She also loved the Clemson Tigers, being an IPTAY member for many years, and she loved the Atlanta Braves. Mary was of the Methodist Faith.
Mrs. Mary is survived by three sisters; Jennie Weadowcroft (Jeffery), of Greenville, Clara Alexander of Florida, and Daphna Turner of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; David Marchbanks, Elbert Joseph "E.J." Marchbanks, and William Dean Marchbanks II; and three sisters; Dot Wade, Marie Glasby, and Ressie Alexander.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley. Flowers are accepted, and the family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
