Mary Lou Hembree, 86, wife of the late Arnold Hembree, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Woodruff, SC, a daughter of the late Paul and Jessie Wood Cathcart, Mary enjoyed taking care of her many flowers and ferns around the house and had a passion for baking. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Greenville
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Christ United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Friday, prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 901 Easley Bridge Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
