Mary Elaine Tollison Hendricks, 80, wife of Jerry Edward Hendricks, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Cottingham Hospice House.

A native of Oconee County she was the daughter of the late John Bennett and Mary Blanche McCurry Tollison. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by brothers, Wayne Tollison (Edna) of Laurens, SC, John Tollison (Mitzi) of Rutherfordton, NC, Marlin Tollison (Wendy) of Tacoma, WA, Don Tollison of Marion, NC, Leland Tollison (Janie) of Westminster, SC; and a special niece, Lynn Wilson of West Union, SC.

She is preceded in death by brother Derrill Tollison; sisters Betty Deaton, Vera Bryson, Vivian Burdette, and Ann Pressley.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Central, SC with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
