Mary Brown Hendrix, 86, wife of the late Troy Hendrix, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013.
Born in Easley to the late Tom and Alma Smith Brown, Mary was the last survivor of eight siblings. She was a loving mother first and foremost, and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church who enjoyed reading as well as driving and traveling when she was able.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Cato of Easley, and Barbara Greer of Greenville; a son Barry Hendrix of Hendersonville; and two grandchildren, Troy Greer and Kasie Hendrix.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by two grandsons, Claude Bradley Cato and Robert Brian Cato.
A private graveside service for family members will be at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
The family members are at their respective residences.
